Architect Kenneth Wood, formerly of the J Seymour Harris Partnership, Birmingham.

Kenneth Wood 1928-2008

Ken Wood FRIBA, former distinguished Concrete Society official and friend of Huddersfield Gem died aged 80 on Monday 17 November. Ken had been ill and was frail. He had been unwell for the last few weeks and died in hospital. He leaves a wife, Georgie, three children and numerous grandchildren.

Ken was the J Seymour Harris partner responsible for the Murrayfield development in Huddersfield during the 1960s and 70s. This included Ramsden House, Queensgate Market, Princess Aleaxandra Walk and the development bounded by Victoria Lane, King Street and Cross Church Street.
