||| Alan J Vaughan |||
Alan J Vaughan was the market hall's project pre-contract quantity surveyor with first Seymour Harris and Partners and
later Pat Fisher Associates. He worked as part of Kenneth Wood's team on the conceptual, design and modelling phases of
the project.
His work in that post included a number of Murrayfield Real Estate projects.
Mr Vaughan has remained in the construction industry being involved in all aspects of cost consultancy. He has
specialised in town centre office and retail redevelopment and been actively involved in 30 such developments from St
Peter Port in Guernsey to the original Eastgate Centre in Inverness.
Mr Vaughan is now a senior director of the Edinburgh Office for Northcroft, construction consultants. He is responsible
for pre contract services - inception studies, benchmarking, feasibility and budget estimates and cost plans of projects
as they are developed through to contract completion.
